Now we all know that paint brush plays an important role while painting a room or a whole house. The fact is you have to know the use of these different type of brushes. Choose the right one for your job. It will make your job easier and give superior results. Home painting brushes come in a variety of sizes, shapes and various filament materials.

Paint Brush
Each paint brush has its own use. Every project you do will require generally two brushes, one is for general use or large areas and an another is for the finer details.
The good sizes are 3 inch, used for general or large piece of trim. Use 1½ for the finer narrow finish.
It also can be flat, oval and angular. Size ranges can be from 1-6 inches wide.
Surfaces that have so many angles, an angular brush can be used. For narrow surfaces multi purpose brush can be used. For all surfaces lat and oval shaped brush can be used.
You have to fix your mind that which paint brush is best for your task. Choosing should be considering type of paint or finish you want. 2 1/2 inches for basic cut-in and 1 1/2 inches for small trim. Always try to use the large brush.
Some basic shapes and uses of home painting brushes are…
1. For small surfaces such as touch-up, trim, moldings and window sashes 1-2 inch brush is a good choice.
2. For general cutting in of walls as well as all exterior trim 2-3 inch brush works great.
3. For large areas such as back brushing behind an airless sprayer or applying stain to a deck floor 4-6 inch brushes are perfect.
